We wanted to take the time to ask your opinion on Club Championships. In the past two seasons, we have had decreased participation and we were looking at ways to make Serenity Club Champs bigger and better.
We had planned on aligning Serenity Club Champs on the Long Weekend with Blue Devil and GlenEagles. The intention was to follow Blue Devil's successful formula to make the event a bigger and more exciting weekend.
For the event this year we were looking at adding a Friday pre-event horserace/cocktail reception followed by two days of golf. Hosting the event on the long weekend allows for the Holiday Monday to be a recovery day. We could also potentially move Club Champs to a 3-day event for certain flights, or all flights. We have also had a discussion of course against course matches on Monday with the Club Champ, Gross, and Net champs etc.
We have had some feedback to keep the Club Champs on the same weekend as previous years and not move the event to August Long Weekend. Please take a moment to let us know which weekend and format would be better for you. Thanks for your time, Slade, Jay, & John.
